新外国人教師のご紹介

Hello everyone! My name is Tamar Land and I am from River Falls, Wisconsin in the USA. I was born and raised in Wisconsin and am a big Wisconsin Packer`s fan (football)! I am a recent graduate from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, with degrees in International Studies, East Asian Studies and Political Science. At the UW-Madison, I worked for the Center for East Asian Studies where I first found out about Amity when putting together materials for recent graduates. After graduation I started working in a Minnesota popular restaurant called Leeann Chins where I soon became the Assistant General Manager of one of our busiest stores. I have been interested in Japan and Japanese culture since I was in Elementary school and am happy to finally be here and be part of the Amity family.　　どうぞよろしくお願いします。

なるほど！フォニックス。。

『フォニックス』という言葉をご存知ですか？

発音の基礎、そして読み書きの土台をつくるための、アルファベットの読み方の決まりです。
日本語は、あいうえお　と覚えれば、読んだり、書いたりできます。でも、英語は、アルファベットを覚えても、読み書きできません。それぞれのアルファベットの持つ音を覚えて、読み書きができるようになります。
また、動詞変化、複数形、比較級、最上級などのスペルの変化もこのフォニックスを知っていると正確になります。

丁寧に学ぶには学校では、時間がかかるので、説明が少ないのが現状だと思います。
アミティーでは小さい頃から、このフォニックスを取り入れたレッスンを行います。
また、英語が苦手、初めてという学校の英語対策のためにも
必ずフォニックスを指導します。
皆さん、学校で習わなかったことを知り、英語がわかるようになったと好評です。

立山連峰と反対方向には全日空ホテルがあります。そちらを目印にお越しください。アミティーは左側、紅葉の街路樹の横に白い4階建てのビルが見えますが、その1階にあります。
駐車場は建物正面とビルの横隣に屋外のアミティー専用駐車場があります。
