In Unit 5 of our lower elementary school student's class we learned how to ask if someone has lost something.
Some of the vocabulary discussed in the unit are house key, name tag, lunch box, glasses, glasses, etc.
Challenge: Try answering this question!
"Did you lose something?"
"Yes, I lost my ___________. / No, I didn't."

外国人クラス受講中の年中さん♪Getting Better at Reading ！！
Hello everyone!
Let me tell you about one of my five-year-old students.
When she first joined my group lesson, it was hard for her to put sounds together.
Since the other students were a little ahead of her, most times she wouldn’t speak.
To help her get better, we started spending a little more time on phonics
and tried to make it fun for her by adding fun games.
Now, she can read simple words like- bag, bed, sit, sun, mom, on her own.
She speaks more in class now, too!
Let’s get better at reading English at Amity!

2023年4月から英語を始めた年少の生徒さんの成長をご紹介します！
家で何気なく「バナナ」という単語を弟が言った時、「bananaだよ」とカタカナではなく英語発音だったことにお母様驚いたそう！
他にもgreen,purpleなど毎回レッスンで出てくる色も家でたくさん話してくれるそうです。
「発音がびっくりするぐらい綺麗で、早い段階で英語を習わせて良かった」
とご送迎に来ていただいたお母様からコメントを頂きました。
日常で目にする単語が英語で言えたり、発音も綺麗だと「おお！」と思いますよね！

Hello everyone!
I'd like to tell you about a 4 year old student who has studied at Amity for less than one year!
She only recently started studying English at a school, but she is learning quickly. She has a lot of energy and loves to speak English. She especially enjoys singing and dancing the class songs. She loves sharing toys with her two classmates.
Her favorite lesson was the one where we shared sweets with each other. In that lesson, we used plates and cups and pretended to eat cake, ice cream, and pudding. She is good at using puppets to ask for food such as "Cake, please." and "Here you are." She is also good at cleaning up after herself and putting away everything after lesson activities.

Our Cheerful and Bright Baby CD Students
Our Baby CD students are so cheerful and always get excited about our lessons and classroom activities!
One of our students is currently taking a private lesson. She is bright, well-behaved and very independent.
She can take out her books from her bag, put them back, draw pictures and do the sticker activities by herself.
Another student is taking a group lesson. He is energetic and is always smiling!
He enjoys listening to songs and watching the animation on the screen.
Babies at Fukui Amity are so lovely! They enjoy learning English at a young age!
