Hello! My name is Jason and I have been teaching at Amity since January of 2014.I was born and raised on Long Island in New York, but have lived in Florida for 8 years before arriving in Tokyo. Teaching English to all ages has been an awakening and unique experience that I will treasure for the rest of my life. I have met so many kind parents and students alike.Everyone that attends Amity Kamikitazawa truly represents Tokyo in a great way. I wish to say thank you to everyone that has made my transition to Tokyo a successful and pleasant one. The staff, parents and students have welcomed me with open arms.It is also wonderful that all of our students give 110% and still have fun in the process. Please don`t ever hesitate to ask me any questions about English, the United States or anything else that is on your mind! If you aren`t a student here yet, please come on in. It would be an honor to have you. Thanks again and let`s have a great year!
Hello! My name is Jordan and I am from Tulsa, Oklahoma. I have been living and teaching in Japan since February of 2014 and finally feel like I am at home here in Kamikitizawa. The students, parents, and staff at this school are what make it so special and different from other schools of its kind. Every day I get to work with amazing people and some of the smartest children in Tokyo! They all make me so proud, and make teaching so much fun. I look forward to continuing with Amity in 2015 and welcoming new and old students back for another year in Kamikitizawa!
