みなさん、ゴールデンウィークはいかがお過ごしでしょうか。
英語で「ゴールデンウィーク」と言うと、"Golden Week"となります。この機会に、英語でのゴールデンウィークの祝日名を覚えましょう！
日本語の「こどもの日」は、英語では "Children's Day"と言います。他の国でも子供を祝う日はありますが、日本と違い、日にちが異なる様です。また、日本の様に祝日として休みになっている国も少ないそうです。
皆さんは「こどもの日ってなんて言うの？」と聞かれたと時に、"Children's Day"と元気よく答えれるようになりましょうね！
次週のレッスンで皆さんの元気な姿を見れることを楽しみにしています。

Labor day in the Philippines
Good day everyone! Today is May 1st.
In the Philippines, we celebrate labor day on May 1st to appreciate the different types of workers who helps the society: nurses, teachers, firefighters, doctors, office workers and many more. Be sure to give thanks to everyone for their service.

今週のレッスンは復習のレッスンとなっています。小学校高学年の生徒たちは、phonicsを使ってスペルができるように頑張っています。vegetablesなどの綴りの長い単語もありますが、皆さん、よく覚えていました。次の復習レッスンでも、さらにスペルの練習をしていきましょうね。

Every place has different rules we need to follow.
This week our high school students learned how to explain rules to their peers.
For example, they can say "Let's go over the rules. First, you have to take a shower . Also, you must wear your hair up . Lastly,
please do not eat or drink anything.".
