In our P8 classes this unit we have been learning different ways to discuss things we hear about others. In English, we call this gossiping! While it can be fun to talk about others, especially with our friends, sometimes the things we gossip about aren’t always true.

Try thinking about different things you gossip about with your friends, how did you find out about it? Do you know if it’s true? Could you get in trouble if they find out you’ve been talking about them? These are all important things to think about when we think about gossiping with others.

Try practicing the language we have been learning in the lessons at home or with your teacher, we love to talk with you all! But try to keep things nice, simple things you hear about at school, after all we are your teachers.

このユニットでは、P8のクラスで、他の人について聞いたことを話し合う様々な方法を学びました。英語ではこれを「ゴシップ」と呼びます！他人の噂話をするのは楽しいことですが、特に友達との間では、噂話が必ずしも真実でないこともあります。

あなたが友達と噂話をしているいろいろなことについて考えてみてください。それが本当かどうか知っていますか？もしあなたがその人のうわさ話をしていることがばれたら、トラブルになる可能性はありますか？これらはすべて、他の人との噂話について考えるときに大切なことです。
