P4 and Up Parent Observations
Starting from tomorrow, all P4 and up students will be inviting their parents to join in on an Amity lesson! This is a great opportunity for parents to see what their students do every week and how much their English has improved. Hopefully, the parents will have lots of fun, too. :) I hope to see lots of parents this week.

毎日じりじり暑い日が続いていますね！
アミティーでは英語で天気を学んでいますが、日本人教師の高学年クラスでは天気に加えて、「寒い」でも"cold""chilly""freezing"など寒さのレベルに合わせた単語も勉強しています！今は暑い季節なので"hot"だけでなくむしあつい"humid"など暑さに合わせた英語を使ってみましょう！（H）
Last Friday, we started our Parents' Observation. Parents are joining us in the group class for the first time in 3 years. I am sure a lot of our students were quite nervous to speak English in front of the parents. So far, our young students have been doing well. Although they were nervous, I know all of them tried to do their best to show their parents what they could do. We are excited to have the other parents join in class. Let's all have fun together!

3年ぶりの参観日実施となります！
お子さまたちの頑張っている姿を見てもらえる機会に、先生たちも張り切っています。対象のみなさまは、ぜひ楽しみにお越しください！

Did you go to the Flower Festival last weekend? I went with my family. We got some food and drinks, and we also listened to some great music! It was a lot of fun. What did you do at the festival? What is the next festival that will happen in Hiroshima? Tell me next time you see me at Amity.

今週の金曜日から参観日がスタートします！
生徒たちみんなに「お母さんも一緒にレッスン受けるよ！」とお伝えすると「ドキドキする！」だったり「かっこいいところ見せたい！」だったり「お母さんと一緒に対決したい！」など楽しみにしている姿・緊張する姿が見られました♪
コロナが始まってから３年ぶりの参観日、普段とは違う様子かもしれませんが、ぜひお母様方も一緒にレッスンを楽しんでくださいね♪（H）
Summer is just around the corner and there are so many things to be excited about! One thing to look forward to are Summer Festivals in Japan. We recently celebrated some festivals in Hiroshima City. They were pretty exciting! I would love to see a big Fireworks display this year. I think Fireworks festivals are so fun to watch. How about you? What kind of festival do you want to see this Summer?
