先日、少し前に体験レッスンへ来てくれた幼稚園生のお子さまがいらっしゃいました。保護者様からは、「初めての場所だと緊張してしまうんです」と伺っていました。
レッスンのはじめは少し緊張した様子でしたが、外国人教師の英語の音をしっかり聞きながら、一生懸命まねをして発話することができました。レッスンが進むにつれて表情もやわらぎ、笑顔がどんどん増えていく姿がとても印象的でした。緊張が解けて、楽しそうに英語に取り組む姿を見ることができ、私たちも大変うれしく感じました。
英語学習は、単に言葉を覚えることだけではありません。「言えた！」「できた！」という小さな成功体験を積み重ねることで、自信や挑戦する力が育まれていきます。
アミティーでは、一人ひとりの小さな一歩を大切にしながら、「英語って楽しい！」という気持ちを育てています。これからもたくさんの成功体験を積み重ね、子どもたちの可能性を広げていきたいと思います。✨🌱

Have you ever picked a pumpkin and turned it into a Jacko lantern? You can go to a pumpkin patch to pick one, or many people buy one from the grocery store. You cut open the top and scoop out all of the insides.
Some people keep the seeds. You can put them flat on a baking tray and roast them in the oven. Once they are roasted you can add a little bit of salt to them for a fun Halloween snack.
You can carve whatever face or character you would like. Some are simple, just eyes and a mouth. Some people are very creative and can carve characters onto the pumpkin, as well as intricate faces and designs. Once you have carved your design into your pumpkin, you place a tea light inside and put the top of the pumpkin back on. You can light the tea light. Pumpkins look really cool in the evening when they have an orange glow from the candle. Many people put the pumpkins at their front doors.

Because of the development and investment, the city would become the center of the economy and politics of the region, attracting many people from far and wide.
Many lords would inherit the city but unfortunately there are too many to list here.

ハロウィーンってなあに？🎃
ハロウィーンは、昔アイルランドで始まったお祭りです。
秋の収穫をお祝いし、悪いものを追い払うために、仮装をするようになったといわれています。
今では、子どもたちが魔女やおばけなどに仮装して、
「Trick or Treat!（トリック・オア・トリート！）」
と言いながら、お菓子をもらって楽しむイベントとして親しまれています♪

Canadian Thanksgiving is on October 12
In Canada, we celebrate thanksgiving on the second Sunday of October. Canadian thanksgiving is different from American thanksgiving. Canadian thanksgiving is about being with people you love and showing kindness to everyone around you.
Thanksgiving is a national holiday. Almost everyone does not have to work on this day so that they can spend it with friends and family.
On thanksgiving, people will all gather at someone's house to eat thanksgiving supper, which is turkey, mashed potatoes, bread, vegetables, and ending with pumpkin or apple pie.
It is a nice time to catch up and chat with family members that you haven’t seen in a while. Some families watch sports games on TV together at this time as well. Some families play games. It is all about t spending time together.
How do you spend time with your family?
The next time period we will look at is where things may get confusing. The Muromachi period saw a sharp rise in conflict in the area. It was during this time that the Yamana clan would rule the area.
Peace would not last long as we enter the rather fittingly named "the warring states period", also known as the Sengoku period. Many battles would be fought all around the nation, including Yonago as the neighboring clan sought to expand it power
Amago Tsunehisa waged battles against others who sought control of the area, including the Mori clan who would eventually emerge victorious and rule over the Chugoku region.
The Hoki province would be granted to his retainer (a subordinate lord who served a greater lord) Kikkawa Hiorie to govern. This is around the time that the famous Yonago Castle would begin construction
