Hello everyone!

Let me tell you about one of my five-year-old students.
When she first joined my group lesson, it was hard for her to put sounds together.
Since the other students were a little ahead of her, most times she wouldn’t speak.
To help her get better, we started spending a little more time on phonics
and tried to make it fun for her by adding fun games.

Now, she can read simple words like- bag, bed, sit, sun, mom, on her own.
She speaks more in class now, too!

Let’s get better at reading English at Amity!

He hasn't been with Amity for very long, but we are always seeing improvements in
his English skills! Recently, he was unable to say "I like to jump rope." by himself, but
now, he can say the whole sentence!

We always have fun in class, and Mom told us,"He especially enjoys singing songs
in English and playing games." His favorite song is 'The Itsy-Bitsy Spider.'

Let's start our English journey at Amity with our toddler classes!

家で何気なく「バナナ」という単語を弟が言った時、「bananaだよ」とカタカナではなく英語発音だったことにお母様驚いたそう！
他にもgreen,purpleなど毎回レッスンで出てくる色も家でたくさん話してくれるそうです。

「発音がびっくりするぐらい綺麗で、早い段階で英語を習わせて良かった」
とご送迎に来ていただいたお母様からコメントを頂きました。
日常で目にする単語が英語で言えたり、発音も綺麗だと「おお！」と思いますよね！

I'd like to tell you about a 4 year old student who has studied at Amity for less than one year!

She only recently started studying English at a school, but she is learning quickly. She has a lot of energy and loves to speak English. She especially enjoys singing and dancing the class songs. She loves sharing toys with her two classmates.

Her favorite lesson was the one where we shared sweets with each other. In that lesson, we used plates and cups and pretended to eat cake, ice cream, and pudding. She is good at using puppets to ask for food such as "Cake, please." and "Here you are." She is also good at cleaning up after herself and putting away everything after lesson activities.

In Unit 10 of our lesson meant for our third-year junior high students, they learn about places, quests, and characters in fictional settings.

Places include: castle, woodland, secret lair, bell tower, prison, village, cliffs, and valley

Quests include: scout the countryside, buy supplies, hide from the _____, rescue the _____, meet the _____, find the _____, catch the _____, and plan the attack

Characters are: villain, spy, thief, detective, hero, heroine, magician, and hunter.

The students learn the sentences:
· Why did the character go to the place?
o He/She must have needed to quest.
· Why didn’t the character bring the character along, too?
o He/She may have wanted to quest.

They use the vocabulary learned to complete the sentences.
