How to Shadow Better
Most people know about shadowing but don't really know how to do it. One trick people have been trying is choosing one person, listening to that one person a lot, then trying to immitate that person when speaking. It can be easier to think "Do I sound like that person" than it is to think "Do I sound natural". Youtube, Spotify and other streaming services have people with a lot of content you can listen to everyday for hours and hours!

What is the Effective Filter
The Affective Filter
Have you ever been speaking English and felt nervous? Are you worried you will make a mistake? It may be that worrying while learning a language only makes learning the language harder. When we are having fun, we pick up language quickly, but when we worry, our minds put up what is called the "affective filter" and prevents us from picking up language. To learn language faster, practice relaxing and having fun, especially if you are the kind of person who worries alot.
Write Out Your Goals, Even the Fun Ones
It is important to spend your free time as much as possible using English, and of course the best way to do that is to read books, watch movies, and even play games as much as you can in English. Sometimes, even though we are trying to have fun in English, we loose track of what we want to do. Try making a list of all the books, movies, and games you want to get through and check them off as you go! You will see how much progress you are making.
