Hello, everyone! I'm Kana, and I'm teaching at Amity for about 2 years!
I started to learn English at a kids English school when I was 8 years old.
I'd love to teach English to my students because I was like one of you!
Something interesting about me☆
・I like watching basketball games, and I used to play it when I was a child.
・I studied Korean when I was an university student because I like K-POP.
・I have lived in Australia for a year as a working holiday maker when I was an university student .
・In my free time, I like to watch any movies, dramas, or animations(currently I'm into 鬼滅の刃).
こんにちは、Amityたまプラーザ校 邦人教師のKanaです！
(生徒さんの中には動詞の'cut'を学んだ時以来、音が似ているのでcut先生と呼んでくれる子もいます！ )
私は生徒様と同じように、英会話スクールに小学校低学年から通い始めました。
そして、英語の他にも部活動やダンス、第２外国語など、好きなことを見つけながら、英語は確実に私の人生における選択肢を広げてくれました。
私が幼いころに比べると、英語は受験に必要な暗記科目の１つから、社会に出るときに測られるコミュニケーションスキルの１つになっていると強く感じます。
まだ英語学習が本格的に始まっていない方も、すでに始まっている方にも、両者のニーズに応えられるカリキュラムがアミティーには備わっていると思います。

Divya 先生♪
Hello! I am Divya Sensei from the land of spices, India! I moved to Japan in 2017 and have been enjoying my time here ever since. I love baking, listening to music, watching documentaries and TED talks on YouTube. One of the many things I like about Japan is its beautiful countryside. I’ve had the opportunity to see some spectacular landscapes in Chiba and Kanagawa. I consider myself as someone who has an international mindset with Indian virtues such as being happy go lucky, affectionate, mindful and positive. I am fortunate to be a part of Amity and I look forward to meeting you!

麻本先生♪
Hello Everyone!
I'm Nami, and it's my third, going on fourth year teaching at Amity!
I am so happy to teach English to children of all ages and backgrounds:)
Currently, I mostly teach lower elementary school students
and I'm looking forward to teaching more bilingual students in the future!
I really enjoy travelling overseas for vacation and getting to know the local culture.
Some countries I've been to/lived in are Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines, the U.S., Australia, Spain and Portugal, and I hope to travel more this year!
My hobbies are watching youtube, listening to pop music, swimming, and going out into nature.

Ciara 先生♪
Hello everyone! I am Ciara and I am from Iowa, USA. I have been at Tama Plaza Amity for about 3 years. Something interesting about me is that I don't like anything that tastes like the sea. For example, fish, seaweed, or even takoyaki taste bad to me. This sometimes makes things difficult living in Japan but I have been managing well. There are many other Japanese dishes that don't involve fish such as okonomiyaki, oyakodon, and my favorite yakiniku !🍖 😋

Hello everyone!
My name is Alex, and I'm from England, UK! I am 25 years old and I'm about to start my second year at Amity.
Some interesting facts about me ♪
- I love playing squash! You might call it racquetball. It's tough but so fun.
- I'm a vegetarian! I don't eat any meat or fish. Luckily I really like vegetables. 🍆
- My birthday is June 29th, so my star sign is Cancer. 🦀
- I love watching fantasy movies, like: Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter.
- I love animals! They're my favorites beings in the whole world! My favorites are the giant panda 🐼 and the penguin 🐧
