Let's use the Copy Chat books!
Starting this week and next, we'll be using the Copy Chat books in our lessons from the P3-P5 Courses. In this these books, we'll learn not just different expressions, we'll also learn about different cultures abroad. It's also very helpful to practice listening using these books. Try it at home! Let's listen to the CD and try reading along.

How are you?
One of our Baby students is starting to speak a lot! They can repeat all of the feelings after the teacher, like `happy`, `sad`, and `hot`. It is always exciting to see the younger students speaking English, and their parents are very happy, too. Let`s learn English with our babies!

Which/Who is taller？
今月の高学年クラスは、比較級・最上級を英語で表すレッスンでした。クラスの中で先生より高いか、また誰が一番高いかをみんなで話していると、、、金曜日クラスのTくんが私より高くなっていました！英語で伝えられたこともですが、身長がぐっと伸びていつのまにか私より高くなっていることに驚きました！小学生は英語力も身長もぐっと伸びますね！これからたくさんの生徒に「I'm taller than teacher!」と言われる日を楽しみにしています♪ （H）
What shape is this?~
Our students in the P1 course are learning about shapes. It is important for kids to learn shapes in English this early. We learned the following shapes in class: circle, heart, square, triangle, and rectangle. In our activity, the students matched some items like pizza (triangle), doughnut (cricle), and cracker (square) with the shapes. We practiced saying "What shape is this?", "It's a circle!". Try practicing with some things you can find at home, too!

New School Year
The new school year at Amity will start in April. Students are getting excited about their new courses and receiving their new books. The students always take their new books with smiles on their faces. If you are interested in trying a new course for the school year (and maybe getting new textbooks!), please contact the school and ask for more information.
