本日は、英検ジュニアを実施し、予備日も含めた全日程が終了しました！受験した幼稚園・保育園、小学生の皆さんお疲れ様でした！はじめてのテストに緊張するお友達や、わくわくが止まらないお友達など、試験前の表情は様々でしたが、終わった後はやり切ったという表情で、みんながこれまでの頑張りを発揮できたことが分かりました。
テストで一番「楽しかった！」の声を聴くことのできる英検ジュニア。私たち学校スタッフも、今年も無事にできてよかったとほっとしています。結果は、12月に到着予定です！それまで楽しみに、引き続き楽しくレッスンしましょうね♪（田島）

I can't believe it is already November! The trees are all changing color and it is getting very cold at night. One of my favorite things about the weather cooling down in Japan is all the warm drinks that we can start to buy. My favorite is a hot lemon tea--or sometimes hot chocolate!

先日は、少し長い文章を一人で読むことができました。
レッスン後に褒めるととても嬉しそうに笑っていました。

Kちゃんは、おうちでの練習の成果を、レッスンで上手に発揮してくれていました！Good job!!

3+3=6を、「Three plus three equals six!」と教師のヘルプなしに発話することができました！学校で習ったことを英語で実践できると、学校のお勉強も英語も更に楽しくなりますよね♪ 今度は、10以上の数字も英語でランダムに言えるように練習していきましょう！ （田島）

Halloween is on Monday, and it is my favorite holiday! When I was oyunger I would go trick or treating with my little brother and sister around my neighborhood. We always got lot of candy from our neighbors!
My favorite candy we would get are called Almond Joys--its a chocolate with coconut filling and an almond on top.
Do you have any plans for Halloween this year? Will you be dressing up in a costume?

The leaves are finally changing!

I went for a walk last weekend and noticed that some of the trees have started to change colour!
I love to see the red and orange leaves at this time of year.
I want to go to Shukkeien gardens to see the leaves there!

Hello everyone!
In America during the fall we like to eat a lot of pumpkin flavored things--here in Japan everyone likes to eat things that taste like sweet potatoes! At home, I love pumpkin coffees and pumpkin pie, but here I really enjoy the sweet potato pastries and ice creams .
What is your favorite sweet potato flavored food? So far I really like sweet potato ice cream, or sweet potato pie!

その名も「ウォルト・ディズニー・カンパニー」です。
ディズニーといえば、知らない人はいないでしょう。
今日はディズニー作品の中でも邦題とタイトルが異なるものを見てみましょう。
・"COCO"
邦題は「リメンバー・ミー」。
原題のココとは主人公のおばあちゃんの名前に由来します。
・"Tangled"
邦題は「ラプンツェル」。
長い髪が特徴的なプリンセスです。"tangled"は「もつれた」という意味を持ちます。
・"Up"
邦題は「カールじいさんの空飛ぶ家」。
原題は、家が飛ぶ様子を端的に表したタイトルがついています。
