みなさんこんにちは！
新年度が始まりましたが、まだまだお休み中の人も多いかと思います。
少しずつ新しい環境に向けて準備をしていきましょう！
今日は英検対策のレッスンを紹介いたします。
小6のYちゃん。
前回、英検3級に合格し、今は準2級に向けて準備をしています。
来年度の3級以降は英検リニューアルが入り、準2級もE-mail問題がライティングに増えます。
今までは聞かれた質問に答えるだけでしたが、次回からは質問を自分で考えなくてはいけません。
そのため、あるアクティビティを行いました。
それは、先生が思い浮かべているもの(例：きゅうり、キリン)を、英語でいろんな質問をしていきあてるゲームです。
最初は簡単な問題から、その後、少しずつ問題を難しくしていきます。
そして、自分がした質問と答えをノートに書いてもらいました。
練習していくうちにスムーズに疑問文が作れるように！
細かい文法ミスもなくなっていきました。
普段のレッスンでも、質問に答えるのはもちろん、自分からたくさん質問していきましょう！
わからないことはいつでも聞いてください！

The start of the new school year has officially begun!
Looking back on this past year, it has been an interesting road filled with ups and downs,
Victories and setbacks! As a teacher it is improtant to take all of these into account
and to continue moving forward! Being a teacher doesn't mean you never stop learning!
I am so excited for the new school year, there are some new students who I am excited to get to know,
ones that I have taught since I started and some that have sadly left Amity or switched to different teachers.
I am filled with the fond memories of the past school year and I am eager to make
this year as successful as the previous one!

As of today, our school year has ended, there were some tearful goodbyes for students who had finished their studies with us, many laughs as we reflected on the year, and the excitement of being handed that shiny certificate saying "You Did It!".
Tomorrow begins our new school year, we`ll have many people meeting new classmates and we`ll have many students taking on new challenges, but I know that together we will have an exciting year full of interesting things to learn and new friends to make, I look forward to seeing it through with everyone.

本日は個別セミナーのレッスンを紹介いたします！
小1のHちゃん。
今は色や形、数字を読む練習中です。
つい先日はイースターの卵を折り紙で作り、必ず'〇〇, please.' 'I like 色.'などの英語を発話しながら作成しました。
卵の裏にはいろんな数字を書いて、英語で言う練習もしています。
そして卵を作った後は、かくして、見つけるアクティビティをしました。
小さい卵は難易度が高いため、見つけられたら高得点！
とても楽しく英語を学ぶことができました。
普段お友達と一緒にやるレッスンもとても楽しいですが、シーズンごとに楽しめるプライベートのセミナーも一緒に楽しみましょう！
次のイベントは何でしょうか…？

One of my new students has started as of last week and it has been
amazing getting to know her! It has been fun communicating with her
and I am looking forward to being her teacher this year.
"M" is so much fun to teach because she seems so interested and engaged!
on Wednesday, she told me she is a big fan of art and plans to become an artist or designer in the future!
That made me very happy since I am one as well. "M" shows great enthusiasm in being creative and I
have decided to intergrate that into our lessons.
I am so excited about our classes and it looks like we will have more
fun learning English with an artistic twist! Finding something in common
with students always makes the lessons more fun, interesting and dynamic!

みなさんこんにちは！
今日は幼児クラスのお話をいたします。
3人の年長さん。
今年度は文章での返答を目標に頑張っています。
前回のレッスンは、'〇〇, please.' 'Here you are.'の文章でした。
Here you are.と言われたらThank you.で返す、とずっと続けてきたので、受け答えがスムーズでした。
そして、見慣れている食べ物の写真が多く出てきたので、お店の店員さんとお客さんになりきっての英会話がとてもよくできていました！
来年度は一年生になります。
今よりも多くのことを英語でお話しできるように練習していきましょう！

On wednesday last week, one of my P3 students "K" had to do a make up lesson with me
and her mother shared something very interesting with me.
She said that "K" told her that she wanted to be an English Teacher just like me.
It really was such a surprise for me and apparently for mom also when she told her that before.
It was the sweetest and most amazing thing I've heard! I was really touched by it.
She wanted to work at Amity and help students learn English!
What a remarkable thing! She would be such a great teacher. "K" is kind, sweet and very smart!
Dreams of the future can be scary but with the right mind set, you can achieve anything!
I am so proud of her and I hope that one day, her dream can come true!

Yesterday we officially started handing out certificates to all our students!
It still amazes me that a whole year has gone by! I am so proud of all the students,
It makes me so happy to see how excited they become when they get their certificates!
How quickly they check out how they did and try to read the comments!
I hope that everyone is proud of themselves and what they have achieved this year!
Next year is almost upon us and I know that every student will keep improving!

Many of our students have started writting their TOEIC Bridge tests on Sunday and the rest
will take place on the 22nd of March! Wishing all students who have written
and those who will write the best of luck! Give it maximum effort!
We know how hard the students have been preparing and I am confident they will do their best!
Learning a foreign language can be very difficult but I am very proud of how well the students
have been progressing!
