英語を学習する上で、とても大切なのは「フォニックス」の力ですが、
フォニックスとは何でしょうか？

自然と覚えてきた、dog, make, phoneなどのスペルにはそれぞれ、
種類の違うフォニックスのルールが隠れています☆

例えば"dog"ですが、アルファベットのディー・オー・ジーから成り立っています。
しかし、英単語の読み方は「ディー・オー・ジー」ではない理由がフォニックスにあるんです！

D=ドゥ、O＝オ、G＝グ

このように、アルファベットの読み方とは別の読み方が英語にはあり、
その学習をすることをフォニックス学習と言い、アミティーでは毎回のレッスンでこの学習を取り入れていますます☀

それぞれのアルファベットの別の読み方を学習することで、発音がよくなったり、
初めて見る単語でも、それがどのような発音をするのかを推測し、当てることができたり、

Listening Treasure Chest: Gold is the third in the series, so it is the most challenging one.
But it is great for helping kids prepare for the Eiken Jr. Gold exam.
Kids will learn more complex English, like idioms, for example, “save money,” and “make a dish.”

As you may already know we have started our Book Fair Campaign in Amity.

Some of the recommended books that we have are the Listening Treasure Chest series (Bronze, Silver, and Gold). These books focuses on strengthening students listening skills.

The Listening Treasure Chest Silver is the second book of the series. It includes more vocabulary commonly used in the daily life conversation (seasons, nature, occupations, and more.)

We would like to tell you about our PHONICS 3, 3+ and Amity PHONICS 4 , 4+.
Phonics books are great for elementary school students.

PHONICS 3 focuses on two-letter consonants blends.
For example:
/bl/ as in black, blue
/fl/ as in flower, fly
/gl/ as in glad, glue

PHONICS 4 help students how to pronounce words with “Bossy R” or the R-Controlled vowels such as /ar/, /or/ ,/er/ , /ur/, and /ir/.
For example, car, doctor, teacher, turtle, and bird.

With Amity Phonics 3+ and Phonics 4+, you can review the words you learned in Amity Phonics 3 and 4.
These books have quizzes and crossword puzzles to test yourself!
