３級以上の皆さま➜英検協会から指定される市内の本会場となります。
受験票に記載されますので、届きましたらお伝えしていきます。
2021年度より、中学校の「新学習指導要領」が完全実施となり、
授業は「英語」で行われ、考えや気持ちを英語で伝え合う「対話的な活動」が重視されています。
また、2020年度までは中学校で学習する英単語が1200語程度でしたが、
2021年度以降は1600～1800語程度に増えました。
アミティーでは、外国人会話幼児クラスだけで760語を学習します。
外国人会話＋日本人会話の週2コースを受講なら1500語が学べます！
聞き取る耳の力が素晴らしい時期に、英語学習をスタートしましょう☆

Hello! It`s nice to meet you!
I am the new English teacher at Nagaoka Amity.
I was born in Italy, but I grew up in the United States.
Before moving to Japan, I used to teach ESL (English as a Second Language) at a private school in Miami.
I enjoy working with children and helping them learn!
In my free time I like to run, travel, and talk to my friends.
I am very excited to be living here in Japan.

Nagaoka fireworks Festival✨✨
It is an exciting time in Nagaoka, Niigata as the Nagaoka fireworks festival is now underway.
This is one of the biggest festivals in Japan and was created in 1946 as a way of honoring those lost in World War 2.
The festival is a very lively time at Amity as many students come in with traditional clothes, and everyone is in good spirits.
It is great seeing everybody so excited and bumping into students at the festival is an exciting way to test their English outside of Amity.
Events like this definitely help to bring the Amity community closer together and we can't wait to see the fireworks shows on the 2nd and 3rd of August.
We strongly encourage anybody who is interested in fireworks, summer festivals, or Niigata prefecture to come and take in the magic with us next year.
