🎆 Remember, Remember the 5th of November 🎆
So many people think that November is a boring month, because it sits inbetween Halloween and Christmas!
I think a lot of people do not realize how much actually happens in November! 🎆
The USA has Thanksgiving, a time to say what you are thankful for and celebrate with loved ones.
The UK has Guy Fawkes Day, or Bonfire Night, on November 5th!🎇
It is a special day in the UK, and we have celebrated this holiday every year since 1606!
All over the UK we hold some amazing firework shows and displays, where hundreds of people will gather to
watch and cheer.
We always have our cheer "Remember, remember the 5th of November!"
It gets very cold on this night, so wrap up warm if you ever get the chance to go! ❄️
People in the UK also create some tall, huge bonfires. We collect old wood, straw, bales of hay and sometimes even broken sofas and furniture!
This big pile of things gets burned with fire, while we eat some great food from the nearby food trucks. 🔥
We also have big parties in parks or our own backyards, lots of food, and even parades on the street sometimes.
It is a great time for British people to come together and celebrate our lives and how lucky we are to be with friends and family! 🎉
