The Philippines is a tropical country so normally it's warm whole year round. Our official summer starts around March when it's warmer than usual. Since we only have two season, the wet and dry seasons, we take this opportunity to bask in the nice summer sun!☀️
My family would normally go to beaches or go to swimming resorts to beat the summer heat. While the kids splash in the pool the Moms would prepare the meals and the Dads would usually do the barbeque.🍖 We also have a special summer dessert called "Halo-Halo"--shaved ice with different fruits from the Philippines topped with yam or icecream.🍨 It's the equivalent of "kakigori" in Japan!🍧
Don't forget to put on your sunscreen!✨

☀️ Summertime in the UK! ☀️

I hope that you're enjoying the wild weather these days. It has been so hot and so sunny,
but that makes the rain come out!
Everyone in the UK looks forward to the Summer months (June, July and August) because it really is the only warm season for us. This year in 2023 the UK has seen some of the highest temperatures in history, with around 40°c, making new records! ✨
British people are always nervous to make plans in the summer because we can have rainy weekends, even in August!
We love going to our stony beaches and eating fish and chips, camping in the woods, having barbeques in the back garden, sitting in the sun at the park, watching the boats on the rivers or sea, and more! We do these things even if it is raining, we do our best to enjoy the summer anyway. ☂
We host the famous tennis tournament called Wimbledon and most British families watch it on TV to support our favorite tennis players. A lot of celebrities from around the world will attend the tournament too so it is a great chance to see some of your favorite singers, actors and athletes. 🎾
One famous summer activity called Punting happens in two cities called Oxford and Cambridge. When there is a chance of the sun shining then the Cherwell river and the River Cam are full of people coming to try riding a little river boat while standing.

Summer in the Philippines 😎☀️
The Philippines is a tropical country with only two seasons ( a dry season☀️, and a wet season🌧).
From March to May are considered to be the hottest three months in the Philippines. These are the times when most beach resorts are fully booked, and beaches 🏖 are packed with people wanting to get a sun tan.
Philippines has a ton of beaches with crystal clear water, instagram-worthy views, and long stretches of white sand.
There's a lot of summer activities that you can try as well like horseback riding, nature adventures, go to festivals, go to historical and heritage tours, and many more! Of course don't miss out on the local food 🥘that you should try for every places that you will go to!
It may be pretty hot in the Philippines but there are a lot of fun activities that you can enjoy under the sun! ☀️❤️
