Have you ever heard someone say they're feeling "under the weather"?
It's a kind way to let people know you're feeling a little sick or unwell.
Example: "I'm sorry, I can't come to school today. I'm feeling a bit under the weather and need to rest."
Example: "Thanks for the invitation to the game, but I'm feeling a bit under the weather and need to stay home."

Let's Learn a Fun Expression: "Break a Leg!"
Get ready to add a cool new phrase to your vocabulary: "Break a leg!"🦵
It might sound a little strange, but it's actually a fun way to wish someone good luck! You'll often hear it used before a performance, like a play or a concert.
For example:
"You have your EIKEN exam tomorrow, right? Break a leg!"
"Your soccer match is this weekend. Break a leg!"
You can use it to cheer on anyone before a big event—whether it's for a test, a game, or a performance!
Fun Trivia!
Why "break a leg"? This phrase comes from the world of theater. Actors are a bit superstitious, and they believed that saying "good luck" would actually bring bad luck. So, they started saying "Break a leg!" to trick the bad luck and send positive vibes instead. Pretty clever, right?
Try it out and spread some good luck!
Summer Success Story: KS Gets Ready to Ace the EIKEN JR!
KS has been making excellent progress in his English lessons at Amity, and we’re so proud of how far he’s come! He now reads short sentences confidently and picks up new vocabulary with ease.
Over the summer, KS joined our special seminar where he focused on:

YN has been hard at work preparing to challenge Eiken Jr. Silver over the course of this summer seminar!
Together, we have been practicing taking the test and learning new vocabulary. By incorporating this new vocabulary into full sentences, he can feel confident in his knowledge of the new words for when he takes this test in November.
