会話レッスンでは毎週天気の確認をしているのですが、Mちゃんは近頃イラストを見て"It's sunny!"と答えられるだけでなく、文字だけを見てそれがsunnyであることがわかってきました。この調子でほかの天気も読めるようになれそうですね。がんばりましょう！

Many of my students had their sports days recently. They were really excited about participating. Some students showed me the dance that they were going to do. It looked really cool. Many students were running in different races and felt tired after practice, however, they still did their best in class. I admired their dedication to studying.

Some students, however, were not excited about sports day. One of my junior high school students said "I hate exercise! It makes me too tired!". He said he likes studying more than exercising. I agree with him. I think studying is much easier than exercising!

11月に毎年恒例の英検ジュニアのテストをアミティーで行います。

【英検ジュニアとは？】
英検協会の主催する、小学生が対象の英語のリスニング試験です。
BRONZE、SILVER、GOLDの３つの級があり、合否ではなく、何％とスコアで結果が出ますので現在の英語力を測りやすい試験です。

英語を「聞く」テストですので、読んだり書いたりする必要はありません。

SILVER　８０％以上＝英検５級のリスニング力に相当、
GOLDは、英検4級～3級レベルの難易度です。

英検を目指しているお子様にもうってつけのテストです！
今年も高得点目指してがんばろう＼(^o^)／

22年度Bronze受験

My kindergarten students have been learning about different seasons. They are learning the names of the seasons, the types of weather in each season, and some seasonal activities.

One of my students had fun while learning the names of the seasons and remembered them easily. When we showed his dad what we learnt in class, his dad was really happy. Dad said that he had been trying to teach the names of the seasons at home but it was a little difficult. I'm so glad that we were able to learn the names of the seasons in class easily by playing games and having fun.

I felt so proud of my young student. He really tried his best!!

Do you know how to ask for things nicely? You can say 'please may I!'

Like this:
"please may I have some water?"
"please may I go to the toilet?"
"please may I have a sticker?"

My Grandma used to say "if you don't ask you won't get!"

Try asking for something nicely, you might get it.

My kindergarten students always amaze me, they are so polite!

When they'd like something they will　always say 'please', when I hand them something they will always say 'thank you'.

小学校2年生のAくんは、毎週の学年ドリルをお母さんお父さんのヘルプなしでいつもすらすら解いているようです！めきめきと力をつけているAくんですが、インタラクティブでは一番難しいレベルのものを音をヒントに頑張っています。出てきた単語をお迎えのお父さんに見せるため、丁寧にノートに書き写していました！こんなつづりもわかるのかとびっくりしていましたね。次のレッスンも楽しみにしてます♪

夏休みセミナーで得意な数字と英検ジュニアに向けて単語をたくさん覚えたSくん。会話レッスンの中でも自信がついたのか、今までよりもずっと大きな声で発表してくれるようになりました！大きな数字をすらすら答えられたときは、同じクラスのMちゃんもとても驚いていましたよ。これからの成長が楽しみです♪
