10月からインタラクティブレッスンも受けることになった年中さんのCちゃん。教室に入ってクラスメイトのお友達に"Hello!"と元気よくあいさつをしていました。おうちでマウスを使ったことがあるようで、スムーズにアクティビティーに取り組むことができましたね。それに音声の後に続いてリピートも大きな声でできました。これからたくさんの単語が出てくるので、一緒に覚えていきましょう！

How many ... ？
小学校２年生のMくんと、テキストにあるイラストを使ってQ&Aをしていた時、"How many ～?"の質問にMくんが答えた後、すぐに自分で考えて"How many plates are there?"と問題を出してくれました。最近読む力だけでなく、文章を組み立てる力がついてきたと感じていましたが、質問文も作れるとは驚きでした。次のレッスンでもぜひ問題を出してください！

Do you like cookies?
Recently, my kindergarten students have been learning about liking different kinds of foods. They learnt "Do you like cookies" "Yes, I do / No, I don't", and "Does he/she like cookies?" "Yes, he/she does / No, he/she doesn't".
They were easily able to tell me the different kinds of foods that they liked, as well as the food they didn't like.
I learnt that all my students like cookies, juice and milk. Some students like grapes and kiwis. What really surprised me though, is that one of my students didn't like ice cream and chocolate. He prefers healthy food like fruit and vegetables!

写真撮りたい！
アミティーでは、ドリルを一冊終えるごとにドリルと一緒に写真を撮って、掲示板に貼っています。年長さんのRくんは、早く写真を撮ってほしくて、毎週レッスンの後に残ってドリルを進めています。先日はどうしても残ってしまったので、おうちで頑張ると言ってくれました。来週持ってきてくれるのを楽しみにしています！

TOEICとTOEIC Bridgeの結果が返ってきました！
8月に中高生の皆さんが受けたTOEICとTOEIC Bridgeの結果が返ってきました。中学校2年生のYちゃんは、毎回確実に点数を上げていっています。数字に表れると自分自身のレベルアップがわかっていいねとお母さんと喜んではいたものの、もう少し点数を伸ばしたい向上心のあるYちゃんは、次回に向けて再度気を引き締めていました。次は例年と違い、12月にも実施されます。頑張ろうね！

What are you afraid of?
I really don't like insects, and I hate when they come near me. It's my greatest fear. In Summer, there are many insects flying around, and alot of them come into Amity. Recently, one of my high school students bravely picked up a cicada and placed it outside. I was really impressed by her courage. During class, I asked my students what their fears were. Some students said ghosts, others said dark rooms or high places. Most students said that their greatest fear was getting a bad score on their test! More specifically, they were scared of their parents reactions to a bad test score. I could definitely understand how they felt!
