My kindergarten students have been learning about the difference between "this" and "that".
They point to things near them and say "this" 👇. They point to things far away and say "that" 👉.
Recently, they have started asking me "what is this?" and "what is that?"
I am really amazed by how quickly they understood the difference. We will soon learn "this is a cat" and "that is a cloud". I can't wait to hear the sentences they come up with.

Last week, my high school students were learning about different dishes from around the world.
We learnt about French quiches, Spanish gazpacho, South Korean kimbap, and Thai noodles.
They also had to think about their own dishes from different countries. One of my students couldn't think of any dishes, so he came up with frog ramen! The whole class found it hilarious. 🐸 🍜
I am always impressed by the creativity my students have. I am really happy that they can express that creativity in English.

Parents were impressed with their children speaking amazing English!
Four/five year old students were asking:
"What does he/she like to do at the park?"
Wow! The young students can say such complicated language, amazing!
