先日インタラクティブレッスンで、自分の知らなかった単語を見つけた小学校1年生のRちゃん。その場で持っていた付箋に、わからなかった単語と意味をメモしていました。覚えようとするその姿勢が素晴らしいですね♪これからもどんどんいろんな単語を吸収していってください！

6月英検で合格した皆さま、おめでとうございます！
3級以上は、7/2、9(日)に2次面接試験が実施されます。中高生は期末試験で忙しかったと思いますが、遅い学校でも今週には終わると思いますので、英検2次直前対策をご検討中の方はお知らせください。

Last week, my high school students were learning about different dishes from around the world.

We learnt about French quiches, Spanish gazpacho, South Korean kimbap, and Thai noodles.

They also had to think about their own dishes from different countries. One of my students couldn't think of any dishes, so he came up with frog ramen! The whole class found it hilarious. 🐸 🍜

I am always impressed by the creativity my students have. I am really happy that they can express that creativity in English.

This week students under 5 years old have had parent observation lessons!
Parents were impressed with their children speaking amazing English!

Four/five year old students were asking:

"What does he/she like to do at the park?"

Wow! The young students can say such complicated language, amazing!

My junior high students have been talking about where they would like to live.

The countryside?
The city?
The suburbs?
The beach?
The jungle?
The mountains?

I would like to live in the mountains because it is cold and I can play in the snow, Yash would like to live near the beach so they can swim!

年少さんクラスのRくんとMちゃん。レッスンの最初に歌う歌で、毎回"I'm 〇〇."と自分のお名前をいうのですが、先日初めてひとりで言えました！ヒントもなしに2人が大きな声で答えてくれたので、とても驚きました。アミティーに来るたびにどんどん言えることが増えていますね♪これからも楽しみです！

今回の英検に合格された方、おめでとうございます！中高生は定期テストの真っ只中ですが、今回合格したKくんも合間を縫って対策レッスンをいれ、一発合格を目指します。他のみなさんの結果報告もお待ちしてます！

Summer vacation is around the corner. That means you have 2 months to have as much fun as possible!!

One of my favorite cartoons is called "Phineas and Ferb". It is about two brothers who try to make every day of summer vacation the best day ever. They do amazing things like building a beach in their backyard or finding aliens on Mars. They have so much fun during their summer vacation.

What will you do to make this the best summer ever?
