Next on our list are Birth stones, the rocks that represent you through the month of February.
The first stone is my favorite. It's a popular purple gem. Can you guess what it is?
Amethyst! Amethyst is a type of quartz known for healing. Amethyst can be found all over the word and thus has history everywhere.
The Amethyst can keep you clear headed and promotes stress relief, grounding and stability. Its a great stone to have for a multitude of occasions.

The other sign for this month is Pisces. If you were born February 19-March 20th, this is your sign.
Pisces are sensitive, intuitive and empathetic people. They are the final sign in the zodiac and have absorbed all the lessons of the signs before them.
Its symbol is two fish swimming in opposite directions, similar to the yin and yang symbol. They represent constant division of Pisces attention between fantasy and reality.

Is your Birthday in February? Part 1
You may have noticed by now, but for the first part of our Birthday series we will start off with Zodiac signs!
February has Aquarius and Pisces. We learned a bit about Aquarius last month (January 20-February 18) and though Aquarius feels like it belongs to water, this is an Air sign.
They are the last Air sign of the zodiac and are seens as creative, progressive. They are didcated to making their world a better place!

Have you heard of Groundhog day?
Ground hog day is a holiday where we predict the weather for the next 2 months!
The groundhog comes out of its burrow and if it see's it's shadow and goes back inside it means that winter will continue for another 6 weeks!
If the groundhog does not see its shadow it means spring will come early!
I hope the groundhog does not see it's shadow! I am ready for warmer weather! How about you?
February is the second month of the year and the end of winter! (Hopefully) This year is a leap year!
During February there are many holidays, Groundhogs day, Valentines day, Black history Month, and more.
Tomorrow is Groundhogs day so we will start there!
