日本人が日本語を習得する際も、赤ちゃんの頃は「聞く」ことに徹し、
２歳ころになるとことばを「話す」ことが楽しくなり、
幼児頃になると文字を覚えて「読む」ことをするようになり、
小学校になるとひらがな、カタカナ、漢字等の「書く」練習が始まります。
英語を第二言語として習得する際、みなそれぞれスタート時期が異なる事はありますが、
「聞く」「話す」というスキルはどの時期のお子様にも楽しんで身に着けられるスキルです。
0歳～3歳のスタートがおすすめですが、小学生からレッスンをスタートして、
確実に力をつけているお友達がたくさん通ってくださっています❢

Word of the Day: ✨nonchalant✨
nonchalant /nän-shə-ˌlänt/. feeling of relaxed and calm, either because there is no care about something or because it is not something to be worried about.
Example:
While she is panicking about losing her wallet, her friend is nonchalant about it.
There is a feeling of nonchalant with the way the reporter deliver the news.
Nonchalant can be used as an adjective. It describes people, places, things, or situation. What "nonchalant" moments do you have? Whether watching a good movie or doing busy tasks from your work/school, we would like to hear them!
