In one of the high school classes we discussed travel plans and all the students are so excited to travel!
where will this year’s adventure take you?
Spring in Japan is a celebration of fresh and vibrant flavors.
Seasonal treats like sakura mochi, a pink rice cake wrapped in pickled cherry leaves, and ichigo daifuku, sweet rice cakes filled with strawberries, are popular treats.
My high school students said Strawberry Mochi is definitely a "must try"!

Cherry blossom season is in full swing in Japan!
Parks are filled with locals and tourists enjoying hanami under the pink petals.
With climate shifts causing earlier blooms, the tradition remains a beloved symbol of spring.
Restaurants are also celebrating with sakura-themed treats.
The students were very excited to share how they enjoyed hanami!
