こんにちは！
今週、アミティーではReviewweekを実施しました！１か月学習した内容の復習回です。
年少さんのクラスでは、"Which do you like, orange juice or soda?"のや"Whose bag is this?"という質問文を復習しましたが、質問の意図を理解して答えることができるだけではなく、質問文もしっかり作ることげできていて大変素晴らしかったです！発音も素晴らしく、英語マスターに近づいていますね😊

I Used to Like... But Now I Like
Hello everyone!
This week our P4 students are learning about what they used to like and what they like now.
The full sentence is, "I used to like playing with toy cars, but now I like fishing."
This sentence tells us what the student used to like doing when they were little, and what the student likes doing now.
One student said "I used to like doing arts and crafts, but now I like fishing."
This was great and now I know she likes fishing!

What do you like to do now?!

Last week, in our P3 class, we practiced asking for help with chores!
We practiced asking "Please help vacuum."
Responding "Ok" and "No, I don't want to."
I asked my student, "Please help clean at home🧹🧼!"
He responded "No, I don't want to!"
Oh no! Everyone, please help your parents clean✨🧽✨!

土曜日に受講しているR君(小１)が、Doesの使い方をマスターしました！！
HeやSheの文章の時は、Doesを使うということが分かっていて、
"Does he have a bike?" - "Yes, he does." と100点満点の答えが返ってきました💮
この調子で英語を楽しみながら、自然に身に付けていこうね♪

先日英検の試験があり、アミティーでもたくさんの生徒さんが合格されていました！
合格おめでとうございます✨
英検5級の勉強を一緒に頑張ってきた小学3年生の生徒さんが、「ai,oeの読み方が、英検対策をしたからわかる！」と嬉しそうに話されていて、英検で頑張ってきたことが日頃のレッスンにも活きているなと感じ、大変嬉しかったです😊
次は4級にも挑戦をしたいと笑顔で言ってくれました！どんどん前向きに英語に取り組んでいけるよう、一緒に頑張っていこうね！

Hello everyone,
This week our P11 students discussed world issues.
One of the issues was poverty and how it is on the rise!
Our P11 students used their own ideas and English knowledge to talk with the teachers about ways to solve some of these issues.
This was a great way to practice English and make our students think.
Our high school students did very well this week!

昨日のプリロンパー(３才)クラスでは、数＋名詞の練習をしました！
🙎"How many dogs are there?"
👫"Tow dogs."
みんな数の認識がしっかりできていて、数字のカウントも上手にできました✨
何より"How many" と聞かれてたら、数を答えるんだ！と分かっていて感動しました！

コミックを読んでいます
この "kind of ~" というのは英検3級の2次試験でもよく出てくるフレーズです。
種類という意味ですが、「kind って親切って意味じゃないの？」と言う生徒さんの声がありました！
そうなんです！その意味でもよく使われます。
英語は同じ単語でもいろいろな意味があります。
よく気が付きましたね☆
