Hello everyone! We would like to tell you about Amity’s "English Spotlight: NEXT book.
This is a companion book for our Practical Course textbook used by our upper elementary school students.
It allows students to review and practice the phonics they learned in the Practical Course lessons.
Students can either practice the phonics letters or write the words they learned that week.
As a challenge students can also write their own words that include the phonics learned that week.

Hello everyone!
We would like to tell you about Amity`s Head Start: DASH book.
This book is used by elementary school students; 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade. It is used as a review practice of words and sentences students learned from the practical lessons. They write, trace, and read the sentences.
Students also have to fill in the missing words to complete the dialogues as a test.
For example, in Unit 1 Lesson 1.

What do you do in the morning?
I ________ the dog.
Answer: I feed the dog.
Let`s have fun writing in English!

Let us talk about our P3 SEESAW workbook. This study material helps our (P3) students develop their vocabulary, reading and writing skills.
It corresponds to the content of the Practical Course textbook, so it helps them retain what they learned. It is a great way to familiarize the students with reading and writing.
They will be able to challenge reading and writing confidently when they reach elementary school.

英語を学習する上で、とても大切なのは「フォニックス」の力ですが、
フォニックスとは何でしょうか？

自然と覚えてきた、dog, make, phoneなどのスペルにはそれぞれ、
種類の違うフォニックスのルールが隠れています☆

例えば"dog"ですが、アルファベットのディー・オー・ジーから成り立っています。
しかし、英単語の読み方は「ディー・オー・ジー」ではない理由がフォニックスにあるんです！

D=ドゥ、O＝オ、G＝グ

このように、アルファベットの読み方とは別の読み方が英語にはあり、
その学習をすることをフォニックス学習と言い、アミティーでは毎回のレッスンでこの学習を取り入れていますます☀

それぞれのアルファベットの別の読み方を学習することで、発音がよくなったり、
初めて見る単語でも、それがどのような発音をするのかを推測し、当てることができたり、
h __ n __ （手：hand）のように空所にあてはまるアルファベットは何かを考えることができるようになります！

But it is great for helping kids prepare for the Eiken Jr. Gold exam.
