8th grade Junior high school students
My 8th grade students were really timid and shy at the beginning of this school year. But now they are able to ask follow-up questions with regards to the lesson topic. They are also able to write their own opinion using the sentence pattern as a guide and provide their own vocabulary example other than what is written in the textbook/workbook. These kinds of written activities are found in our Amity original lesson materials that can help not only to practice daily conversation but also with language proficiency test like Eiken, TOEFL, TOEIC & TOEIC Bridge, etc.

I'd like to tell you about a 1st year Junior High School student.
At the start of the school year, the lesson contents were a little difficult for her.
She always kept a positive attitude and tried her very best, though!
At the start of the year, she learned to say what she thought about different subjects using sentences like:
“What do you think of mathematics?”
“I really it.”
“I don’t really like it very much. I prefer biology.”
Although this was a little hard for her, she kept working hard and encouraged her classmates to work hard too.
Now she speaks more clearly and can say longer and more complex sentences like:
“Can you think of anyone in the club more studious than Jon?”
“Yes, Oscar is more studious.”
“No, Jon is the most studious.”

資格試験で日頃の成果を実感！～小学校高学年クラス～
こんにちは！アミティー福井校です。
3月も後半に入り、1年間のコース修了まで後少しとなりました。
アミティーでは、1年間の学習を終えた生徒さんに修了証をお渡ししています。
完全担任制のアミティーだからこそ、1年間の成長を見ていただけます☆
小学校高学年の会話クラスでは、olderやearlierなどの比較級を用いた文や、
betweenやin front of等を使って物や人の位置を表す文をなど、様々な表現を1年間で学習してきました☀
4月はリピートを通して、一度練習してから英文を読んでいましたが、
今ではリピートなし！完全に自分の力で英文を読むことができるようになりました！
リスニングの試験である英検Jr.にも引き続き挑戦されていて、
2023年度実施の試験では90％以上の正答率を出すことができています♪
いつものレッスンの成果がこうして目に見える形で現れると、自信にも英語学習のモチベーションになっている様子が伝わります！

Double the Learning, Double the Fun!
Our students have shown a great improvement this year! Two of them are twins and it has been a year of learning and growth for both of them!
One of them has improved her reading fluency and pronunciation this year. She now understands the basics of grammar and speaks more in class.
Her twin sister`s listening comprehension and speaking skills have also gotten a lot better! She can now correctly respond to questions more quickly
Also, both of them are always excited to do their workbook and drill book activities!
It has been an amazing school year, indeed!

英語が楽しいは最強！予習＆復習もしっかりしてくれています！
レッスンで一番楽しいのは、先生と単語の練習をしながら追いかけっこをすることです。先生は上手に英語を話せたときには褒めてくれるので嬉しいです。英語が話せるようになったら、色々な国の人と会話してみたいです。（本人のコメント）
先生との会話やレッスン動画の視聴のおかげで発音がとても上手になりました。最近は苦手だった英単語の読みも少しずつできるようになり成長を感じています。
家でも”What animal do you like?”などレッスンでならった文章を家族に質問するようになりました。また、肘、膝、腕など、体のパーツを英語で聞くとすべて答えることができ、驚かされました。
普段の家庭学習ではレッスン翌日に宿題をおこない、1週間のうち1～2回動画（iAOD）を視聴しています。レッスンの前日に前回の復習をおこない、テキストとsound pocketを使って単語と文章の予習も必ずしています。
また被弾の生活でも、好きなアニメを英語版で見たり、英語かるたで遊んだり、英語と触れ合う時間を作っています。
娘はアミティーのレッスンがとても好きで毎週楽しみに通っています。このまま楽しみながら英語を学び、自分の目標を叶えてほしいです。（保護者の方のコメント）
2024年度第1回（6月実施）英検申し込みスタート！
2024年度第1回（6月2日（日） 本会場）実施予定の英検申し込みが本日より開始しました。
申込期間：2024年3月15日（金）〜 5月2日（木）
※書店受付締切日は4月19日（金）、書店申込書類の協会必着日は4月23日（火）
受験を考えている方は忘れないようにすぐに申し込みをしましょう。
アミティー福井校では第1回は申込を受け付けておりませんが、対策レッスンは1級～5級まで受講可能です。
