About Elementary School Classes🏫
Elementary school students are very interesting and fun to talk with. We learn longer sentences and this week we learned, “What is he or she like?” and one of our answers in “She is friendly.” I asked everyone, “Are you friendly?” and they answered “Yes, I am!” Students are eager to share their ideas and we are happy to assist them in speaking English. Why not try learning English today? We are waiting for you here in Amity.

👨About Kindergarten Classes👧
Kids here are now more energetic and independent. We play fun activities and students can remember English words much better too! During our class, one of my students asked, “Can you help me please?” This might be simple but a great big effort on his part to communicate in English. I am very proud of him! Let’s try speaking in English with foreign teachers here in Amity!
About Junior High School Classes📚
Students here are a lot more opinionated and they can engage in simple to more complicated conversations. They can talk about their likes and dislikes and they can explain why. This week, we learned, “What do you recommend we give him as a gift?” and “I think you should give him a pair of running shoes.” We also had fun sharing what Christmas present they would like to receive this year. Let’s enjoy English conversations here in Amity soon, see you!

Hello! Steven here!!!
Another year is over! With the new year it is time for our new year’s resolution! Mine this year will be eating healthier and exercising more. It is a common resolution but I have enjoyed so much Japanese food that I have put on a little weight. So, it is time to get back into shape!!! What’s your new year’s resolution? I would love to know!

British phrase of the day: new year, new me
Definition: a desire for self-improvement or transformation at the start of a new year
Example: This year I am going to lose weight and exercise. New year new me!!!
This week’s baby class was all about sharing. We practiced the phrases, “here you are” and “thank you.” They may not understand yet but babies hearing simple English words and expressions often are very helpful for them in learning languages. We also sang “Rain, rain, go away,” this song is all about the weather and we learned many other words like “rainy, windy, and sunny.” Let’s learn English together here at Amity soon!
