Hi guys and Happy Friday!

The weather is hot today! Do you like the hot weather?

Many people prefer cold weather, but I want to give you 5 REASONS why you should LOVE Summer:

1. You can swim.
Swimming in an outdoor pool is the best on a hot sunny day!

2. You can eat ice cream.
Okay, okay. You can eat ice cream when it's cold, too. However, I love the competition between me eating the ice cream and the ice cream melting. How thrilling!

3. You can wear new clothes.
Because it's hot, you have opportunities to experiment with new kinds of clothes that make you feel stylish and cool at the same time!

4. You can make new friends.
Many schools have 1 or 2 weeks off for summer vacation. During this time, you can attend different club activities and go to summer camps where you'll meet new friends.

5. You can travel!
If you haven't signed up for any clubs or camps, you can spend this time exploring new places and food with friends or family. It's sometimes scary going to new places, but having these experiences is a very important part of being human! You'll never know what you can find until you go for it.

Hi guys and Happy Super Special Friday here in Hiroshima!

As many of you I'm sure are aware of, the G7 Summit is happening this weekend.

Isn't it exciting? It feels really cool to be in the same city as so many influential people around the world!

Anyway, because of this, all public transportation has stopped and the roads are closed.

However, Amity will still be open today and tomorrow. Please come to class!!

And if you can't come because of the traffic situation, you can join from home on your computer!
