アミティーでは、今年も11月に英検ジュニアを実施予定です！
日頃のレッスンの成果を確認する良い機会ですので、ぜひ挑戦してみましょう😊
今月の低学年クラスでは、～ingを使って「今～しています。」と進行形の練習をしています。
特に、一人の生徒さんにジェスチャーをしてもらい、何をしているか"You're ～ing."とあてるアクティビティーでは、みんな大きな声で発話します。ジェスチャーをする生徒も、答える生徒もとても盛り上がっています。おうちでもやってみてくださいね。 (Y)

This Fall, we will have the Eiken Jr. test.
This test challenges students' English listening skills.
This test is useful to take because it can help children identify their strengths and weaknesses when it comes to listening and test-taking skills!
Even if you don't feel confident with English right now, it's ok.
You should try it, because you might be surprised how much you know! ;)

I love September, because even though it's still hot, we can begin preparing for Fall.
In America, we often eat pumpkin food products, and decorate our homes with orange, yellow, and red colors!

８月も今日で終わりですね！
来週から、通常のテキストを使ってのレッスンになります。(振替レッスンを除く)
いつものテキストブック、ワークブック等をお持ちください。
10月には英検、11月には英検Jr.や授業参観と、力を見せる秋がやってきます。

Hi everyone! I hope you're having a nice week.
There will be a big typhoon soon, so please be careful!
In the U.S. we have typhoons, but we call them "Hurricanes."
Also, we give them category numbers to convey how powerful the storm is.
For example, category 1 is the lightest, least dangerous kind, and category 5 is the strongest.
If there is a category 5 Hurricane coming, you should evacuate and seek shelter!
How do you measure the power of typhoons in Japan?
