This is a reminder that tomorrow, 9/15 is a seminar day. There are no regular group lessons tomorrow. Instead, we will have private seminar lessons. Many students are taking lessons to prepare for EIKEN. Are you ready for the EIKEN exam? If you want some extra practice, please call the school or send an email to schedule an EIKEN practice lesson.

日本人教師の小学校低学年クラスでは今月”How much is this？””It’s 100 dollers!”とお買い物の表現を勉強しています！「円」ではなく「ドル」での表現や、百や十の位を英語で表現できるように練習をしています。買いたいものがそれぞれでしたが、スマートフォンが一番人気でした♪海外でお買い物ができるようにたくさん"How much?"とたくさん練習していきましょう！（H）
I heard there were fireworks events in Hiroshima recently!
I really love watching fireworks shows. They are loud, but very pretty.
In the Philippines, we only see fireworks at midnight of January 1st!
Filipinos do it to welcome the New Year.

I heard that a typhoon is coming soon! Oh no! What can you do to stay safe during a typhoon? I have an emergency kit at home and lots of extra water bottles. What else should I buy to prepare? Let me know what to buy for emergencies next time you come to Amity!
