This week our elementary school students are learning emotions such as:
happy, fine, bored, worried, excited
We learned to ask:
"How are you?"
And to answer:
"I`m excited!"
We also learned to talk about other peoples emotions:
"How is he/she?" "He/she is fine."
Our students had fun matching pumpkin faces to the emotions on our iLesson. They also enjoyed metching the expression in their voice to the emotions.

Our older elementary students have been learing plural endings.
Plural words are words that are talking about more than 1 thing.
In English we usually ad an `s` to the end of a word to make it plural.
Example: 1 hat, 2 hats.
However, there are a few times when this is different:
For words ending in ~ch or ~s, we often add `es` to the end.
Example: 1 watch, 2 watches. 1 dress, 3 dresses.
For words ending in ~y, the ~y is replaced by `ies`.
Example: 1 fly, 2 flies. 1 spy, 2 spies.
Our students did a great job to undersand and use these plural endings for the past month.
