Heat Awareness Day ☀️🥵
Hello everyone!
Heat Awareness Day is observed annually on the last Friday of May, which falls on May 30th this year.
Heat Awareness Day is an effort to inform the public about the health dangers related to heat, in order to reduce the overall rate of illnesses and deaths caused by it. ♨️
This day was specially founded as a reminder that many outdoor workers or laborers are at risk of serious heat-induced conditions like heat exhaustion, dehydration, heatstroke, and even death.
Let's stay safe in this heat. Remember to:
-Stay hydrated 🫗
-Keep your fashion light and breezy👚
Wear loose-fitting and lightweight clothing, made with breathable fabrics like cotton.
-Slather on sunscreen🧴🧴
The importance of sunscreen as protection against the sun is never going to get old.
-Avoid going outdoors in peak times ☀️☀️
Avoid stepping out into the sun during its peak hours, especially without protection.
-Limit your activity 💪
Leave the intense workouts for early mornings or nights, and take it easy during the midday heat.

World Hunger Day is globally observed on May 28th every year. That's today!
This initiative, created by a non-profit organization called The Hunger Project, seeks to end world hunger. 🚫🥣
World hunger is an issue that has been around for a very long time. Hunger is a severe condition where a body lacks food for a long period of time. 🥣
There are several causes of hunger around the world, including low incomes, drought, famine, and political crises. 🌍
According to the organization, about 820 million people are suffering the terror of chronic hunger. Feeding the hungry is an initiative that everyone can understand and appreciate.
Ending world hunger is something we all want. The cause helps to save lives and restore hope and dignity to people when they need it the most.👍

Hello everyone!
Let's read about oceans. 🌊
We call Earth the 'Blue Planet' because the ocean covers about 71 per cent of it! 🌎
Many people wear blue to celebrate World Oceans Day on 8 June every year. This is a special day to learn about oceans, why they are in danger and why it's so important to protect them. 💙
The world has five oceans: the Pacific Ocean, the Atlantic Ocean, the Indian Ocean, the Southern Ocean and the Arctic Ocean. The Pacific is the biggest – it's bigger than all the land in the world put together. The smallest, the Arctic Ocean, is frozen for a lot of the year. But scientists think that soon much of the ice will disappear because of climate change. 🧊🌊
Without oceans, humans, animals and plants couldn't live. We don't know the exact number, but scientists think that oceans are home to 50–80 per cent of living things on Earth – from enormous whales to tiny fish. Oceans contain about 97 per cent of all the water on Earth. Thanks to the water cycle, oceans give us rainwater and drinking water. And did you know that at least half the oxygen we breathe comes from plants in the ocean? Oceans take in carbon dioxide and give us oxygen. 🌧️🚰
