Hello everyone!
Last week we had parent observations for P4 classes.
In the lesson, we practiced asking "When is your birthday" and other holidays!
I asked one student "When is your mom's birthday?" 🎂
The student answered "Her birthday is June 16th."
Mom was very happy her student knew her birthday!

昨日参観日が終了しました！ご来校くださった保護者の皆様ありがとうございました！
小学校高学年クラスではDo you～？、Does he/she～？の使い分けの学習をしています。
参観日でもこの使い分けを学習しましたが、４年生の保護者様が、「内容をしっかりと理解し発話している姿を見て驚きました！」と嬉しいご感想を頂きました。生徒さんも照れながら嬉しそうにされていたのが印象的です。
レッスンに集中し、宿題も日頃頑張っているご成果です！本当に誇らしく感じました!

We are have started our Parent Observations for our older students!
This week in our P5 classes we practiced the question "Have you ever seen a llama?" 🦙🦙
One student asked her mom "Have you ever seen a whale?"
Her mom responded "No, I haven't but I want to!"
Everyone, have you ever seen a whale? 🐋🐋

現在小学低学年のクラスでは、場所について聞いたり答えたりする練習をしています！
9月から始めた2年生の生徒さんが、"Where is the convenience store?"に対し、"It's near the school."と、nearは「近い」という意味なんだということをしっかりと理解した上で答えることができたのを見てご成長を感じました！😊ほかにもhere, there, over thereなど色々な表現で道案内できるように先生と楽しく学習していきましょう！

This week our P3 students are learned about wanting different foods.
Our students did a great job with the full sentences "He wants an ice cream cone"
Many of our students had a lot of fun with the pictures of food.
Most loved pretending to eat the pictures of food! There was a lot of laughing this week!
