Thanksgiving in Japan is different from other countries. It usually celebrated it with family as they gather and celebrate it together while eating turkey.However, Thanksgiving in Japan is usually celebrated on November 23rd. It is for the workers and there's no specific on how to celebrate this day. It's up to you how you spend your holiday.

Thanksgiving is a holiday where family gathers together. This holiday is celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November. When we say Thanksgiving, we think about "Turkey". Family put roasted turkey as the staple food for this holiday. It's because it's bigger than your normal chicken and it taste good too.

Two years ago, my friend and I went to Kyoto in November. I was very excited to see the foliage and the popular sightseeing spots. On our second day, we walked along Kamo river and at night, we decided to drive to the Bamboo Forest. We heard that there was supposed to be illuminations at the Bamboo Forest. To our dismay, the forest was so dark and there wasn't even a single light that was lit up. It turned out that the place closes at 5 P.M. We did not want to go back to our hotel just yet so we decided to look for a way to at least get a glimpse of the bamboo trees. As we were driving through the forest, we saw something that quickly crossed in front of our car. We suddenly pulled over. It was running very fast and we couldn't tell what it was. We looked around and we found out it was a Japanese racoon dog! It was my first time to see a racoon dog and it was really cute!

２０２３年度第２回実用英語技能検定５級・４級が、10/8（日）にアミティーで実施されました。
そして、受験された全員が合格しました！
３級以上を受験の生徒は、明日が二次試験ですね。
