Long holidays is a really great time to see family and friends. But after all the partying and merry making, it gets really tiring and draining.

Nobody is quite sure when this holiday was founded, but it was founded by someone who had a profound and deep love of sleep. The Festival of Sleep Day was encouraged so that people could enjoy some relaxation and much-needed “shut-eye” after the holiday period. The Festival of Sleep Day ensures that you have all of the time that you need to recoup and recover.

年末年始のような長期のお休みは、楽しいことがたくさんありますね。

いつから始まったのかは不明ですが、睡眠を愛する人から発祥したようです。
しっかりと寝る時間がなくても、「目を閉じるだけ」で疲労回復の効果があります。

年末年始は慌ただしくなりますが、しっかりと睡眠をとってくださいね。

Emperor Youzei was Japan`s 57th emperor.
陽成天皇は日本の第５７代天皇でした。

He was born in 869.
彼は869年に生まれたそうです。

That`s 1155 years ago!
1155年前に生まれたということですね！

Today is the last day of the year 2023.
And just like how this year keeps on giving us surprises, of course it won't end without a bang!

People fond of numbers are raving about this day's date, 12-31-23. It's like counting the first three numbers twice. They even say this day only happens once in a hundred years.

Some thinks it is auspicious and everyone thinks it's cool.
But whatever you think it is, we hope you will have the best day of the year 2023!

なぜなら、この時期は全米で最も人気のあるプロスポーツ、NFLのプレーオフシーズンが開幕するからです。

日本でもテレビ放送やネット中継など、その熱気を一部味わうことができるみたいです。
