My new year's resolution!
Happy 2021 everyone! As the new year begins, we should set some checklist to improve ourselves and achieve this goal for a certain year. I am a foreign teacher living here in Japan for 3 years now and learning and understanding Japanese is beneficial in our day to day living. Communication barrier is a challenge, however, I am thankful that we could still understand each other through English.
So, what is my new year's resolution this 2021? Learn more about the culture of Japan, that is my goal.
How about you? I strongly suggest, learning more English, and it will be fun too!
We will be happy to see you!

There's no better way to start the new year than setting new goals and planning how to fulfill them. And speaking of new goals, why don't you include learning/improving your English in your list? A very good idea, right? Here are some good to go English Goals:
* study English for 1 hour (or more) every day
* speak English with English speakers around
* watch/listen to a TV program/podcast in English and understand it
* read and finish one English book every month
* add at least 2 new English words in your vocabulary every day
and many more..
Wow! Days would get more exciting and challenging. Why don't start you English Goals today?
I want to wish everyone a very Happy New Year's Eve!
There is much to look forward to, and here at Fukuyama Amity we are also looking to the future. There is much we hope to achieve in 2021. Most of all we intend to keep giving our students the best English lessons possible and helping them to become the best English speakers they can be. We are very proud of all that we were able to achieve in 2020 and are eager to begin the new year!
As the coming of the New Year approaches, we want to greet everyone a safe and warm Happy Holidays!
Japan has many particular holidays starting on January. Whether you are a Japanese or a Foreigner like me, making good connection and communication through technology is safer to practice this year. Let us always be thankful for the blessings and open for more improvement for the coming year.
And remember, Learning English is always fun in Amity!
Here in Amity, we want to remind all our students to keep on listening, reading and writing your Phonics book at home starting this vacation. Listening to the Phonics Cd and answering your drill books at home will surely benefit your skills to improve more in English.
Learning English is endless and fun, and so we wanted everyone to keep up and do their best all the time!

Merry Christmas from all of us here at Fukuyama Amity!
We have been having so much fun here in the midst of our Winter Seminar. It has been especially special for me as a foreign teacher, as we incorporated many of my traditions from home into the language pattern. For example, we have been havin a 'dinner party' using food one would traditionally serve during an American Christmas dinner! It has been really incredible to be able to share my culture with my students, as I have been so happy and eager to learn about theirs.
I hope that everyone has a special Christmas and a wonderful New Year!
