Where did Snowman start? ☃️

In our lessons this week, many of our students enjoyed the Snowman illustrations on the iLesson. Where did the snowman start?
The snowman has been around for a long time. The first snowmen likely appeared in Europe during the Middle Ages, around the 14th century. Early snowmen were simple, just big piles of snow stacked on top of each other. In the 16th century, artists started painting snowmen in their winter scenes.
Today, the snowman became more recognizable, with features like a carrot nose and eyes. In the U.S., snowmen became popular in winter celebrations and Christmas traditions.

Hello everyone,
In the UK, US and Canada, every store and radio station will play popular modern Christmas songs throughout December.
Most people enjoy it, but a lot of people also find them annoying after hearing them over and over again every year!
We have already been learning an old Christmas song for our P1 class to practice more words in English, and we will have more lessons in December that will teach Christmas words!
