Hello, everyone! 🤗

This week, our students have been very productive and busy with reviewing all the the lessons we had for Unit 3. Some of these lessons were taught last year, so the students` memory are very impressive. During review week, we go over the past lessons again and do a listening test before the class ends.

This way, we are able to work on proper pronunciation and develop the listening skills of our students at Amity. We are excited to end this unit and start another one next week!

This week, we are back to the usual classes here at Amity. We are happy to see our students who enjoyed their winter vacation. Even though the year changed, our goal remains the same - to help children learn English while having fun. We look forward to working with you all again this new year!

新しくなった英検の問題の、どこが変わったのか詳しくご紹介します！
英検準2級では、問題の追加・削減がありました。

＜削減したところ＞
〇大問1(短文の語句補充)のうち、熟語・文法問題から5問削減
〇大問3(長文の語句補充)のうち3問削減(長文問題1題分カット)
＜追加したところ＞
3級と同様に、Eメール問題が追加されました。送られてきたメール文の中に1フレーズ下線が引いてあるので、それについての質問を2つ考えて書くことと、メール内で問われた質問に答えていく内容です。

ただ答えるだけでなく、質問まで考えてしていくことで、よりコミュニケーション能力、自己表現力を問われています。日頃からニュースなどに対して、英語で質問を考えるようにしてみましょう！

通常月曜はおやすみをいただいていますが、
本日は特別開講日のため開講しています。
