今週は小学生以上の参観日でした☺
みなさんおうちの人に頑張っている姿をみせることができましたね。
私のクラスの高学年クラスでは、"Does he/she have ~ ?"の練習をしました。
アクテビティでは、お父さん、お母さんが持っている番号カードが何番なのか当てていきました！
チーム戦になって、どちらのチームがはやく当てることができるか競っていきました！

Amity provides fun and useful English lessons for everyone! This week, our students learned different adjectives such as careful, careless, messy, neat, dirty, lazy and hardworking. Also, they learned about different jobs such as babysitter, construction worker, and tour guide and the qualities needed for those jobs.

Autumn is one of the most anticipated seasons of the year. It is the time when it gets cooler, and the leaves start to change colors. People also celebrate some occasions such as Halloween, Thanksgiving Day, and for Catholics, the start of the advent season. How about you? What do you usually do in autumn? Do you go sightseeing with your family and friends or spend time with them at home? May you have a memorable autumn season!

私のクラスでは、"It's a/an 色 + 〇〇."の練習をしました。
みなさん色を正確に素早く答えることができ、また文章を大きな声で発表することができていました！
お母さんからは、「前習った単語や言葉も覚えていてすごい！」という感想をいただきました。
この調子でたくさんのことを楽しく覚えていこうね♪
来週は小学生以上の参観日です。

We had so much fun in our lesson with Junior High School students this week. They learned new vocabulary words such as going to the skating rink, meeting with friends, working out and other useful phrases that they can use in conversation. They also shared what they do during their free time or on the weekends. It was a fun-filled lesson, indeed!
English Lesson with Parents
This week is a special one for our students and parents here at Koi Amity. Parents are going to join our lessons with their children and do fun activities with them. It is a good opportunity for parents to see how good our students are in the lesson. Also, it is for our students to show to their parents that they enjoy taking English lessons at Amity.

In Japan, there are four seasons that make us appreciate the beauty of nature. Snow in winter, cherry blossoms in spring, lush greenery in summer and autumn leaves in fall make each season unique and memorable. There are also a lot of seasonal foods, activities and events in each of the four seasons.
How about you? What is your favorite season? Who do you usually spend it with? May you enjoy this season, doing what you love with your family and friends.

There are so many things to be grateful for.
Thanksgiving Day is celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November in America and marks the start of the holiday season. Since it is a national holiday, families and friends gather and share a traditional Thanksgiving meal. They also share stories and express words of gratitude for all the blessings they have received throughout the year.
