This week and next week, Amity is conducting Parents` Observation Lessons. The parents and guardians of students are invited to join the class and see what their children do every week in Amity. Many young students are excited to have their parents join the lesson. One student last week said she was very happy that mom joined the lesson, and mom was also happy to see how her child is in class. Please join the Parents` Observation next time if you can. You won`t regret it.

今月日本人教師の高学年クラスでは、「have」を使って自分の持っているもの、またHeやSheの時は「has」を使って表す練習をしています。自分たちの持っているものを"I have a・・・"と、英語でどんどん伝えてくれました。その中でもKくんが”I have a noisy necklace！”としゃらしゃら音が鳴るネックレスを見せてくれました！「noisy」を自分で追加して英語で表せていて、私もびっくりしました！みなさんも自分の持っているもの、ぜひ英語で先生たちに伝えてみてくださいね♪　（H）

Last Thursday, the Parents Observation started at Amity. Some parents were able to join us in our classes.

In our class, the parents enjoyed playing the games in class with the students last Saturday.

Together the parents and students learned the expression: "He/She wants a doughnut." (a sports drink, a candy bar, an ice cream cone, an ice pop)

Thank you to all the parents who joined us. We hope to see more parents in the class.

One of our baby students had a fun time in their last class. The theme of the lessons was music, so we used many instruments to make music and sing our favorite songs. The baby liked the instruments very much and began rocking back and forth to the music we made. The baby and mom had a very fun time.

日本人教師の小学生低学年クラスでは今月「can」を使った文を練習しています。土曜日のクラスでは、みんなが"I can dance!"と、今みんなの中で流行っているゾンビダンスを踊ってくれました♪ SNSでよく見ているのか、みんな完璧に踊れていて、圧倒されました…！また全員が"I can speak English!"と笑顔で言ってくれていたのがとてもうれしく思います！また頑張っている様子を参観日でもぜひご覧ください！　（H）

Our 5-6 year old kids at Amity are learning the polite way to ask their parents for something.

Last week we learned about using "May I . . .".

We practiced "May I get some snacks?" (sweets, soda, tea, fruit)

We also practiced the answers "Yes, you may", or "No, you may not".

The kids did a great job at asking politely.
