I can dance!
日本人教師の小学生低学年クラスでは今月「can」を使った文を練習しています。土曜日のクラスでは、みんなが"I can dance!"と、今みんなの中で流行っているゾンビダンスを踊ってくれました♪ SNSでよく見ているのか、みんな完璧に踊れていて、圧倒されました…！また全員が"I can speak English!"と笑顔で言ってくれていたのがとてもうれしく思います！また頑張っている様子を参観日でもぜひご覧ください！ （H）

Let's ask Mom and Dad nicely by using "May I. . ."
Our 5-6 year old kids at Amity are learning the polite way to ask their parents for something.
Last week we learned about using "May I . . .".
We practiced "May I get some snacks?" (sweets, soda, tea, fruit)
We also practiced the answers "Yes, you may", or "No, you may not".
The kids did a great job at asking politely.

ただいま秋の学習カウンセリングで、在校生の皆さまおひとりずつとお話をさせて頂いています。
お子さまのお悩みをきいたり、次の目標を考えたり、つい時間を忘れて話し込んでしまいます！
先生たちも、伝えたいことがたくさんあるようです。
カウンセリングを通じて、新たな発見があるといいですね♪

EIKEN Practice
Last week, we had many students take practice lessons for the EIKEN. One student got a near-perfect score, and they improved on the sections they were struggling with. They were so happy to show their mother their score. I am sure they did well on the test last weekend!

Learning different Body Parts
The last Unit of our P3 Course book was about learning body parts. We learned the easy ones like head, hands, fingers, and feet. We also learned the challenging ones like throat, stomach, ankle, and knees. Some students were able to say these words after practicing a couple of times in the class!

Buidling Blocks
Today in a Baby class, the student was able to stack 3 blocks on top of each other with a stuffed animal on top. The student was happy he could stack the blocks and started to clap when he finished the block tower. Mom was also happy and she told him, `Great job!`

英検ジュニアがいよいよ近づいてきました！
会話のレッスンでも英検ジュニアの成果がでていて、3ヒントクイズをいつもメインカードで出しているのですが、みんながI'm standingやI’m brown！など作ってくれるようにもなりました！ぜひおうちでもメインカードを使って3ヒントクイズ作ってみてくださいね♪ （H）

Halloween Event!
Last October 28th, we held a Halloween event at Hiroshima-Oshiba Amity!
Five kids made a Halloween Pop-up book with their parents.
We also learned some Halloween characters like: Ghost, Monster, and Pumpkin!
We sang a song and learned to say: "Knock knock, Trick or Treat, Who are you?" "I'm a Ghost!"
The kids and their parents did a fantastic job at this event!
HAPPY HALLOWEEN, EVERYONE!
