Tuesday was national dumpling day--so I have been celebrating all week.
Almost every country has a different word for dumpling and their own special kind of dumpling. They can be filled with savory food like meat or vegetables, and sweet food like fruit or anko. The most famous dumpling in Japan is probably gyoza! In America we really like to eat apple dumplings.
My favorite dumplings are pumpkin empanadas, they are sweet and we usually eat them during fall or near Christmas.

I went to Matsuyama Castle!

I took the ferry to Matsuyama to see Matsuyama Castle.
It was beautiful!
I think it is my favourite castle in Japan.
