リーディング、リスニング共に100問ずつ出題されるため、文章を素早く読んで要点を読み取るスキミング力が求められます。
実は、先日実施された、大学入試共通テストにも似た特徴があります。
実際に受験した高校生からも、速読力や情報処理能力が求められた、等の声が多くあがっています！

An idiom is a phrase made from an unlikely group of words.
Idioms are a bit hard to understand but English speakers often
use them to express themselves.
One common way to use idioms is to describe the condition of objects.
Today's idiom is "On its last legs.".
On its last legs: something that will stop working soon
due to it being extremely old. [Usually vehicles or technology]
For Example: "Greg's had that van for 50 years.
The poor thing is on its last legs .

How to read and say a 'YEAR'📅
It's 2023. (twenty twenty-three)
Most commonly we read
the first set of 2 digits (20-twenty)
followed by the second set of
2 digits (23-twenty-three).
With years that have zeroes,
there is a special way to read and
say them.
A single zero becomes O just
like the year 1908 (nineteen O eight).
If the year ends with two zeroes like 1400,
we take the first set of digits (14 = fourteen)
and the two zeroes (00) are read 'hundred'
making it fourteen hundred.
If there are 2 zeroes in
the middle, we read them
as thousand or just stick to the first method
of breaking two digits into sets.
For example, the year 2002 would
be 'two thousand two' or 'twenty O two'.
