Winter Book Fair: Storybook Reader
The Amity Storybook Readers are a great way for students to practice both at home.
Utilizing the Amity Original Storybooks
Where is my mother?, Anna's Rocket,
and Eric and Katie's Dream, the Stroybook Readers include quizzes for each
page of the story as well as all new dialogues for the students to practice with.
The aim these books is to also help the students prepare for the EIKEN tests.

Amity Original HOP, STEP, JUMP Drill Books
These books cover a wide range of skills and topics
and are appropriate for students from kindergarten
through junior high school. The series begins with
basic writing practice and progresses to offering
students explanations of and practice with
various grammar points.

Two weeks ago our P4 classes learned to ask questions using "this" or "that". They enjoyed moving around the classroom to be close to or far away from the object they were speaking about!
This week one of our Main Cards words is "this" so it is a chance to practice the difference between these two words again!

Winter Book Fair: Phonics
The Amity PHONICS drill books focus on
teaching students the phonetic rules required to be able to read in English.
In these drill books, students learn the relationships between the letters
and sounds and how to organize these letters into words.
