今日は、中高生のTOEIC、TOEIC Bridgeの試験を実施しました。みなさん、お疲れ様でした。
前回と比べて手ごたえはありましたか？中1の皆さんは初受験でしたが、英検と比べてどうでしたでしたか？
約1か月でスコアレポートが返ってきますので、返却時には個別カウンセリングで分析と今後の目標についてお話ししたいと思っています。

Do you know what a tongue twister is?
A tongue twister is a phrase that is really difficult to say correctly.
Try saying some of these!
'She sells sea shells on the sea shore.'
'Get papa a cup of proper coffee in a proper copper coffee cup.'
'Red lorry yellow lorry, red lorry yellow lorry, red lorry yellow lorry'
'Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers. How many pickled peppers did Peter Piper pick?'

昨年度まで一緒にレッスンしていた小学校2年生のMちゃんと、先日待ち時間に英語の絵本を読みました。元々レベルがとても高いMちゃんでしたが、数か月前よりもっとすらすらと上手に読む姿に感動しました！久しぶりにMちゃんの英語を聞けたのも嬉しかったです。今度は英語でお話しようね♪

Where can I go to watch a movie?
Hello everyone!
I often ask my students for recommendations on where to go.
When I first came to Amity, I asked my high school students: 'where can I go to watch a movie?'. They told me 'there is a cinema at the mall', I asked them: 'where is the mall?' and they told me: 'the mall is in Kudamatsu'.
The students at Tokuyama Amity are so kind and helpful!

徳山校ではドリルを1冊終えたら写真をパシャリ✨Ｈくんもたくさんのドリルを頑張っていますので、大文字、小文字の書き換えもビックリするくらいスラスラです。今回はフォニックス２のドリルが終わりました！妹のＫちゃんもドリルをスタート！アルファベットがすでに上手に書けます！特に夏休みはたくさんの生徒さんが集中して頑張ってくれています。8月中に何人の写真が撮れるか、とても楽しみです♪
Hello everyone!
In one of my seminar lessons I was talking about ocean animals with a student. We learned the vocabulary; 'fish, dolphins, jellyfish, turtles, and seahorses' we learned how to say: 'I like .... best!'
I told him that I like jellyfish best. He spent a while trying to choose which animal he liked best, and he was thinking very hard. He surprised me when he said 'I like sharks best!'. I had not told him about sharks!
This made me so happy! It is great when students use English to tell me about their interests.
