英検を受験された皆さん、試験お疲れ様でした！
本日は2024年度第3回目の英検5級の分析をしていきます。

中学校前半で学習する基本的な文法が出題されます。
穴埋め問題では動詞の原形で始まる命令形、
人称代名詞の問題に苦戦する生徒が多い印象でした。
また、会話表現や並べ替え問題では
a cup of coffeeのような日常会話で用いられる連語が出題されました。

対策レッスンを受講し、多くの過去問題に取り組んだ生徒からは、
「今まで勉強おかげでそこまで難しくはなかったし、実力を発揮できた」
とのお声を頂きました。

I would like to talk about a high school student we have.
She started last February. She was already very advanced in speaking. We could have entire conversations without her asking me to explain anything. So, our main focus for her was Eiken.
We worked on her reading and writing.
She passed the Eiken 2nd grade test, and she just took the Eiken Pre-1st test in December.

早速、英検協会のHPに解答速報が出ておりますが、自己採点はされましたか？？
3級以上は、2次(面接)試験がある為、自己採点をして7割近く正解であれば2次試験の対策を始めましょう！

This week, our 4th, 5th, and 6th grade students are learning about Countable and Uncountable nouns.
Countable nouns can be counted. For example, bell peppers, pickles, mushrooms, etc.
Uncountable nouns cannot be counted. For example, hot sauce, mustard, whipped cream, etc.
At the end of the lesson, students can ask and answer the following questions.
"How many bell peppers do you want on your cheeseburger? I want a few, please."
"How much mustard do you want on your chili dog? I want a little, please."

新年度を前に、共通テストを意識し始めている方も多くいると思いますので、
今回はListeningの特徴や、高得点を取るためのコツをご紹介いたします♪

Listening第3～6問は1回しか放送されません。
Readingと同じく、聞いてから1文1文頭の中で日本語訳をしていてはついていけなくなってしまうため、普段からの練習が必須です。
また、下記の問題のように音声を聞いて・選択肢を読んで・グラフから情報を掴まなければいけない問題も出てきます。
