One of our baby students joined in November 2024.
When he first started, he wasn’t very reactive to the activities.
However, over time, he has become more engaged and responsive!

Now, he pays more attention to songs and activities, claps and smiles along,
and even follows simple instructions from his mom, like touching objects when she asks.
It’s wonderful to see his progress as he becomes more familiar with English!

A student we have here at Amity is a 12-year-old boy.
This past April was his first-time taking conversation lessons with a foreign teacher!
He has grown so much this year, especially when responding to the teacher. He used to stay quiet when asked questions before, but now, he can answer the questions!
He takes his time, but he is really thinking about what he wants to say before saying it.
It is starting to feel more like we are having conversations!

Good day everyone! I would like to share one of my student's progress throughout their journey studying English here in Amity.

Often times students would read words in sentences one at a time sometimes sounding like a robot. Recently, my student has started picking up blending sounds.

For example, the response "Yes, it is." would be read word by word by this student. However, they noticed that it would be easier to say the sentence if we blended the words "it is."

This really helped students to read sentences other than the ones mentioned much smoother than before!

Hello everyone!

We have a lot of long-time high school students in Amity. Some of them joined when they were elementary students and others started as Junior high school student.
