To practice your language production skills why not try keeping a journal in the language you want to learn? You can write about anything: what you ate, what you want to eat, where you want to go, what you did, what you want to do, how you are feeling, anything!
Doing this everyday, then taking the time to edit your own journal using either online resources or a trusted friend/teacher, will help improve your grammar, writing, and reading skills.

A good way to practice your intonation is using poetry. Take the following excerpt from the poem "How Doth the Little Busy Bee" by Isaac Watts.
How doth the little busy bee
Improve each shining hour,
And gather honey all the day
From every opening flower!
How skillfully she builds her cell!
How neat she spreads the wax!
And labors hard to store it well
With the sweet food she makes.
This is written in alternating iambic tetrameter and iambic trimeter. The odd numbered lines have 4 groups of two syllables (called iambs) the second syllable is stressed. The even numbered lines have 3 iambs each. Stress every other syllable in the poem to practice your English intonation.

Last Lesson Of The School Year
The last lesson of the school year is bittersweet. We are excited to move up to the next level but we also have to say goodbye to our classmates. It is a good chance to look through the textbook and workbook to review some previous lessons. It is fun to see which lessons we struggled with and which lessons seem easier now. Looking through the workbook is a good opportunity to see how your handwriting has improved and how your spelling has improved as well. It is important to look back before you move forward. Good luck next year.
